Old Description of Art Kitchen: initially meant as the series of evenings for young people. Starting November 2006 in Tallinn, aimed to entertain and involve everyone interested in subculture music and arts Artkitchen was held once a month by young enthusiasts and has been taking place in “Lasnamae Social Center”. “Create, play and drink tea” – was the event’s spirit. Young creative intelligence were gathering to participate in guitar sessions, poetical, and theatrical performances, films and galleries. The creative Kitchen is glad to everyone who is interested in the music, performance, diy, technology, fashion and wish to expose their art and collaborate.
Artkitchen was participating in the Estonian project Vertikaal in Kultuurikatel in association with Uus Noorus and collaborating with EuroNoor.
CURRENTLY (2008-2009) Artkitchen goes club: running Transmission parties with Salvador.ee, making “MindTheCrap!” music/art events, and doing radio show on the Shoreditch Radio.
DJing: at London events One Party State in Camden, Club Cool, Girls Don’t Cry, Powder, Iameverything; and Tallinn parties arranged by Ruslan Px, Death By Pop, “Sneakers and Jeans“, and Cheap and Chick crew.
